Onyx Empowerment Collective (OEC) is committed to the facilitation, creation, and maintenance of identity-safe spaces for employees and consumers of color, through Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI) organizational assessments, interactive training/education, strategic planning, coaching, and or consultation.

Onyx Empowerment Collective (OEC) works to assist entities in creating and maintaining a thriving workplace culture for all employees and consumers, we utilize a Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (REDI) approach applying a REDI lens to all of our work.
OEC Services
Designed to meet our clients where they are at; we offer a number of services that facilitate an entities' movement toward racial equity, ensuring a healthier environment for employees and consumers of color.

An assessment and consultation precedes all service delivery. Services range from one time offerings to short or long-term contractual relationships.

REDI Assessment
The first step toward creating identity-safe spaces is assessment. OCE’s REDI Assessment is focused on racial equity, diversity, and inclusion tenets and assists us in creating a baseline understanding your entities needs. Additionally, our REDI Assessment can be used by entities to gain an organizational pulse check to inform future training, strategic planning, and policy development.
REDI Strategic Planning
Our REDI Strategic Planning utilizes racial equity, diversity, and inclusion best practices and frameworks to inform organizational strategic and operational planning including but not limited to leadership, policy, procedures, practices, and resources.
REDI Coaching
Designed for both new and seasoned staffers, OCE REDI Coaching provides guidance specific to individualized goals related to building their capacity toward cultural humility. This structured performance specific service utilizes SMART goals to facilitate and evaluate transition of attitudes and behaviors related to race, culture, and identity.
REDI Consultation
Our project-based consultation works alongside teams to ensure that the development process and product/outcome are reflective of diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices. This consultation seeks to eliminate the unintentional harm created by cultural insensitivities and provide expertise related to race, culture, identity, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
